Discipleship

Sunday school for Children isn’t like the days past, we don’t sit at desks to learn. NO..we stand, we march, we touch and smell and listen.  It’s Hands On…What if Jesus taught your kids? How would he do it? What tools would he use? What would he want them to learn and remember?  The Bible gives us lots of examples of how Jesus did it 2,000 years ago. He used everyday objects like coins, fish, and plants to help people remember the truths he shared with them.  Hands-On Bible Curriculum does the same thing. We call them “gizmos,” and they serve the same purpose: to help kids understand important Bible truths. It worked for Jesus, and it still works today. Join us at 9:30 every Sunday and jump into the fun of learning about Jesus, God and our Bible.

Our Nursery Ministry staff, in addition to a wonderful group of volunteers, care for our Infants through Pre-school.  Nursery (Newborn through two years) and our Preschool (3-5 years old) are available beginning at 8:30 am through all Worship services on Sundays.  We also offer Nursery/Pre-school Ministry at different events,  special worship services and much more.  Our Nursery/Pre-school Ministry is located on the first level of the building, near our playground. Parents must remain on the premises when their children are in the care of the Nursery staff. The Nursery staff/volunteers wear masks (due to Covid).  All diaper bags should be clearly marked for each child.  We do ask no food be brought into the nursery, however bottles/sippy cups (marked with the child’s name) are appreciated. We register each child and gather cell phone information for families so we may contact you if there are any issues. Our Check-in process is one of our best practices for a Safe Sanctuary.

We have a Check in process for all Children, Infant through 5th grade. Parents please walk your children directly to class and register your children.  First time visitors will be asked to complete a registration form.  We strive to provide a safe, engaging environment for all events. We will request all children wash their hands and/or hand sanitize their hands before entering the classroom.   All our Nursery workers are required (due to Covid-19) to wear a mask. Elementary teachers are optional for masks, however children and families always have the option to wear masks in the classroom/church as they desire. Our Check-in process is one of our best practices for a Safe Sanctuary.
