Church family, Greensboro community & lovers of the fall season!

A quick thank you for taking the time to do some research about visiting us this fall! If you’re reading this you are probably a faithful customer that has supported our youth ministry for years but maybe you are a future customer & we thank you too!! Welcome to our family. We are excited to serve you beginning Wednesday, September 23rd. It is solely by the grace of God & the support of our community that this ministry has thrived for 30 years. Yes, you read that right we are celebrating 30 years of selling pumpkin in 2020!

As our church does it’s best to “pivot” in all ministry & to make the most of the hand we have been dealt {COVID-19} we are ecstatic to be able to host our Pumpkin Patch yet again! The layout & process will look different than in years past nevertheless we will proudly be selling on the corner of Pisgah Church and Battleground.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

  • Volunteers & church staff will be masked when working with customers.
  • Volunteers & church staff working the patch will be temperature checked upon arrival and will not be permitted to work their shift if showing signs of the virus/ elevated temperature or with the knowledge that has been exposed to the virus.
  • Handwashing & sanitizing will be a frequent practice during their shift.
  • For the safety of all, we can not allow customers to exit their vehicles to peruse our selection of pumpkins. We will do our best to select the perfect pumpkin according to your order.
  • To limit the contact we have with the public we will only accept credit/debit card payments or exact cash transactions. Receipts upon request.

This year we will be hosting a Drive-Thru Pumpkin Patch experience for you. Our biggest goal as a church is to provide you with the safest experience possible. So what does that look like? Let me share important details you’ll want to know ahead of time.

We invite you to enter our drive-thru experience using Forest Lawn Drive. You might have used this road to access Lewis Recreational Center, Forest Lawn Cemetery, or Country Park. This drive gives you access to our weekday school parking lot where we will start cueing cars to wait {when necessary} before entering the drive-thru experience. While spending time in the cue we will have a greeter offering the traditional Pumpkin Patch Visitor Stickers, a bottle of water & a small snack. It is important to us that you have a positive experience as we learn this new process.

At the appropriate time, our parking attendant will motions you forward so that we can take your order! You will have a chance to see up-close our display table with sizes & pricing. After placing this order our youth & volunteer team will work efficiently to complete your order.

As the line rolls forward you will move toward our loading station where we will load into the desired door of your vehicle. We will begin processing your credit/debit card payment. Our payment attendant will have the ability to hold out a card reader for no contact between you and them during this step. Receipts upon request.

Subsequently, you will have two options. First, veer left to turn right out of our parking lot onto Battleground. Second, veer right and park for a quick photo op! We know that yearly photos in our patch are a tradition for a lot of our customers and we want to aid you in continuing that fall family tradition.

Again, we thank you for the opportunity to provide you with pumpkins and a fall experience for the last 30 years. In advance, we appreciate your patience as we navigate the uncharted waters of successful running a drive-thru Pumpkin Patch.
